Duties include telephonic outreach and education for quality care, patient scheduling of preventive care testing, retrieving patient history via Electronic Medical Records, data entry results into spreadsheets, educating patients regarding treatments, handling correspondence, and providing clinical and clerical support to the nurses in the department.. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a valid MA school certificate or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or 2 years clinical experience. Working knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principles and practices along with ability to communicate effectively with patients and all levels of personnel in a professional, courteous and effective manner.
