LifeLink Tissue Bank Director of Operations LifeLink Tissue Bank, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving patients in need of transplantation therapy is searching for a dynamic leader to provide daily oversight and management of the Tissue Bank Operations with an emphasis on production and management development. A strong managerial background is required and the successful candidate must be able to provide both focus and motivation toward short and long-term goals. We are the largest not-for-profit tissue bank in the Southeast, and one of the largest in the United States. We work in a sensitive, diligent, and compassionate manner to facilitate the donation of desperately needed tissues for waiting patients. To accomplish our goals, the professional we select for this critical role must have at least 5 years of management experience in a medical device manufacturing environment, proven leadership skills, holds a bachelors' degree in Life Science or BioTech Industry Field. MBA degree is desired, and lean manufacturing experience a plus. Knowledge of regulatory agency standards are necessary as this position is responsible for ensuring that all processing activities are performed in accordance with established LifeLink, AATB, and FDA requirements.
